Claire’s data breach following attack by cyber criminals
18 June 2020 Jewellery and accessories retailer, Claire’s, has revealed details of a data breach caused by a cyber-attack. Sansec, a company which specialises in protecting payment platforms, discovered and reported the data breach to Claire's on 12 June 2020. Nintendo Data Breach
21 May 2020 Nintendo has revealed details of a cyber-attack which resulted in up to 160,000 customer accounts being illegally accessed by hackers. At the beginning of April 2020, customers began noticing suspicious activity on their accounts when their payment details were used to purchase other digital goods via Nintendo’s online stores. 6 May 2020 On 14 March 2020, Hammersmith Medical Research (HMR) were targeted by cybercriminal group, Maze, resulting in a significant data breach. The breach occurred when Maze stole personal data hosted on HMR’s network and began to encrypt their computers.
